Presence check of individual parts during the assembly of differentials
In a system designed for the assembly of differentials for electric motors, the parts are to be checked directly after being placed by the employee.
Various tasks were solved with classical image processing:
- The presence and correct diameter (see picture above) of a trabant axle shaft was checked with edge detection
- A pinhole was checked for presence using pixle counting with a binary filter (see image below)
- An auxiliary shaft was checked for presence and correct position using pixel counting
